They’ll love our beautiful Butter Sugar Cookies which are stuffed with a gooey cinnamon brown sugar filling, baked until golden, then spread with cream cheese frosting and candied pecans.
Ingredients
1 Sweet Discovery 4 oz. Butter Sugar Cookie
- .35oz Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter Mix
- 1oz Cream Cheese Frosting
- 1/2oz Candied Pecans
Brown Sugar Cinnamon Butter Mix Ingredients:
- 8oz Brown Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Cinnamon
- Butter
Cream Cheese Frosting Ingredients:
- 8oz Cream Cheese
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 3/4 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Candied Pecans Ingredients:
- Whole Pecans
- 2 tablespoons Corn syrup
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- Sugar
Preparation
- Thaw frozen cookie puck to room temperature.
- Roll out into a stick 6 inches long.
- Sprinkle approximately .50 oz of the cinnamon sugar mix along the top of the rolled out cookie.
- Coil the cookie dough into a pinwheel shape and then gently flatten on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake per manufacturer instructions.
- Allow to cool 1 hour or until room temperature.
- Sprinkle any extra cinnamon sugar mix over the top of the cookie.
- Spread top with a 1 oz scoop of the cream cheese frosting.
- Place .50 oz of the candied pecans over the top.
Cream Cheese Frosting
- Mix all in a standing mixer with a whisk attachment
Candied Pecans
- In a pan cook the corn syrup and both sugars to a slight boil.
- When the sugar boils for 3 minutes add the pecans and butter.
- Cook in a preheated oven for 5 minutes on a parchment lines half sheet pan
- Let cool and break up to use
